This is my photo blog to keep myself thinking creatively. I am taking a photo class this year to hone my skills. I'm enrolled in a photography class and hope to be able to improve my skills. This blog will be my response to the challenges.

Revision on perspective
As Jason requested, I reshot my train track perspective photo. What do you think of these?
I agree that the focused rail looks better (although I didn't hate the other one), but my favorite has gotta be the top pic. Seriously James! Sometimes your composition skills just blow my mind. :)
Sarah is right, the top pick has some great composition. I like the vertical fence posts with the horizontal rail ties. I wonder what would happen if you cropped the bottom 1/3rd out. I think the black shadow on the left side of the bridge is distracting and cropping the bottom third would actually elongate picture for the eye (at least from my imprecise holding my hands up to the monitor cropping). :)
I like the new rails pics. New ideas, what do you think about using the angle of the 2nd rail picture and bringing it close tot he ground like the 1st rail picture and taking the beams out of focus just a little?
